Get out of the building!

Get out of the building!

We tried our interview questions to understand the problem we are trying to solve. We asked very different profiles about the question. They were national students, international students living abroad, and employees, but all of them lived by themselves or with one or two roommates.

The 80% of them has moved more than once, and 50% of them three and more. When they moved houses with their parents, they all used a big moving company. However, when they moved away from their parents they just used a car and a couple of boxes. The International students when they moved from their home country they did not have that much belongings with them.

70% of the people asked do not consider themselves organize people, and often they need help to organize a closet or even their room.

When asking about the worst part when moving, the population asked said:
  • Packing and unpacking the boxes
  • Finding a way to transport your belongings
  • Trying to find things in the boxes
  • Assembling and disassembling furniture

Idea research and foundings

21% of the population between 16-29 years young live by themselves. Furthermore, more than 1/3 of the young population have a salary around the minimum by law. Which means that young people don't have resources to contract a big moving company. Therefore, they will rely on small contracts to move and organize their own things. Spain has received a total of  73.803 students  in 2017 thanks to the program Erasmus+, so they do not have the resources to move big things around. They will need a platform that gives them these resources.
